My girlfriend and I had service with ATT. We decided to switch carriers to TMobile but discovered in our area that their service was horrible and the wifi calling is literally unbearable. My number transferred over to tmobile and my girlfriends did not. Can I cancel service with tmobile and return the tmobile phones so that I can continue my ATT service or is there something specific I need to do to keep my same old number with ATT? I never officially canceles my att service but I want to continue using it with my same number.

If your number was transferred, your account was automatically closed. You will need to transfer your number back to AT&T. You should be able to go back to AT&T and reopen your account.BUT since your account was closed, you can no longer have any grandfathered plans (if you had any). You must choose current minute, texting and data plans.
