I have "Data Unlimited for iPhone 4S" and purchased the Samsung Galaxy S II (i777) off contract. So my question which department can change my $30 smartphone unlimited data plan from iPhone 4S to Android? Or do I even need to change it since both plans are HSPA+ compatible?

You do need to switch it. You just need to call CS and have them do it. You'll need to supply them with the IMEI # of the Samsung phone.

Thanks. However, I fear loosing the plan, as I have read countless times of people who called and the CS rep goofed and the plan was then gone forever.
visit a ATT retail store have them do it and verify it before you sign
