I started to buy a phone online and was accepted with a 150 dollar security deposit. I got an email the next day asking to call ******. I did and was transfered all over teh place. I called 4 times. 1 of them I was dropped. Finally, I got on the phone with a rep (after talking to 3 different people for about an hour) she stated I have a past due balance of 150 dollars. I told them I never had a collection with you people and it probably meant it as a security deposit. The rep stated she will take care of it.
My bank account has not been debited for the security deposit yet. I dont feel like staying on the phone repeating my story for over an hour again. Can some rep help me out? I have a confirmation number and do not want to reapply again and have my credit pulled!!!!

Just called again, they said I have the wrong service (it was Uverse) and transferred me to wirelss. Call was dropped.

hmmmm sounds like it may be your past due balance is actually your security deposit maybe for some reason they are not charging your bank account and they are just placing it on your first months bill. That would explain why the account is showing as a amount due. If you call in again just ask if the balance on the account is for you deposit.

the computer told me to call the above numbers should I? I was on the phone for 20 mins.

Did a rep place you on hold for 20 min? You said you had purchased these devices online. Were these phones purchased via the normal online site or the company site? (orange at at top or the blue).
