7#fbid=6P6Km4UDcmH and click on the" Go to the Manage Features page in myAT&T. " i get something that reads "F908: We're sorry, but we are experiencing a temporary system error that prevents us from retrieving your available features information. Please call customer service at 1-800-331-0500. " Now, is that a glitch with the at&t site or do I need to be the primary account holder to do this? I only want to change it on MY number and no one elses. My father is the primary account holder. Can anyone please help me with this?
If I reall correctly you do have to logon with the master account to be able to change anything on the family plan - or be authorized by the primary account holder to do anything

I added this feature a while back for my parents phones that are on my account. I could not find the feature online at all. When I called customer care on the telephone they were able to immediately add the calling name block to my added lines on my account. I suggest calling 611 from your cell phone to add the feature as I don't believe it is an option on their website.

I don't believe you can change the caller ID to a different name. AT&T added a feature to my parents phone lines called "Calling Name Block" . Now when I make calls it shows my name on the caller ID, but when my parents call people it just says WIRELESS CALL as the name on the receiving parties caller ID.
you can -
1. logon to the online account manager
2. select Profile fromt eh menu bar
3. selec the phone you want to change the caller id on
4. select edit user and make your changes and save

What they did was just block others from seeing who it is that is calling. What wingrider said is the correct way.
