Hi,
I'm a student and currently in a family plan. The thing is that all of us in the plan, except one person, will be out of the country for the entire summer break, which lasts about 3 and half months. We will not be able to use the phone regularly outside the country.
So my question is, is there a way to keep that one line of the person who stays in the US active, while put the rest of the lines into "hibernation"? I checked the suspension service but it's just a suspension service for lost phones and you have to pay normal fee even if you don't use it. I'm looking for a way to just pay a fee for keeping the line, since we know we are not able to use them for couple months.
Thank you!

You can suspend service on mobile phones regardless of it they are lost or not. You do have to pay a fee though.
This is called a Reduced Rate Suspend and one of the reasons it's used is when our customers travel out of the US.
