How to track AT&T cellphone returns using smartlabel

Today I mailed (by going to the mail office) my Samsung Galaxy 2 smartphone back to AT&T using the box and return label that came with the original purchase as part of exchange. Since then I have read lot of horror stories about tracking the returns. How do track this return ? I tried usps.com and http://www.tracking.smartlabel.com/ but the item is not showing up yet. There are two 24-digits numbers on the return label (one starting with 610 and other with 420) as well as a 9-digit RMA number. Which one is the tracking number ? I called At&T custiomer service but the guy didn't know how to track it.

The RMA label is what is used to identify the order, then you would receive a tracking number provided by the mail carrier.

hi. Can you tell me how long it took for your package to reach ATT and for them to update it? I am facing the same problem. I return my S2 on 16th and still there is no update about it on smartlabel tracking. And the ATT wouldnt reverse the upgrade until there is some update on the returned package
