Hello.
I dropped my Windows phone into the toilet. I had taken out the SIM card.
Is it recommended I buy a new phone while in the country and put my SIM card into it? Will I have service when I take the phone back to the United States?

Your AT&T SIM card will work with a local unlocked phone. In general, if the phone is quad band or better, it should work in the US. If you want to have 3G or better, the phone must have all the UMTS frequency bands of AT&T network. These frequency bands are listed in the spec of AT&T phones at AT&T Wireless shopping web site.
