For the past few months I've noticed "phantom data" on my account between 15-40k KB a day. I've been trying different things to determine the cause, and have noticed that after recording a video, a data transfer of about 20k shows up on my account. Would this be accounted for by the GPS tracker stamping the video with a location? Or does this mean apple is uploading my video to some seperate server? I use my phone as my main camera, so I've even tried taking photo/video with the airplane mode on to avoid this extra data/charges but the data shows up as soon as I turn airplane mode off! I don't have any sketchy or unreliable apps on my phone, so I'm not sure what is going on or why the camera would cause such a spike in data use! Please help.
