You need to get your father to go into an ATT store and get your accounts straightened out. I am going to guess that your account is caught in a funny state. What they are saying is that each line will have its own minute plan, data plan and texting plan. I am going to assume what you really want is a family plan with data for each line and a shared texting plan. As long as they show your current lines as no longer part of the company but not having your own plans, their systems are confussed.
I know he is probably busy with his new job but unitl you go in it is probably not going to work regardless of what you do.
