I recently purchased a quad-band GSM Security Camera as shown on Chinavasion (CVPU-DC46) that has purportedly been factory configured for use on the U.S. GSM network frequencies: 850MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz, 1900MHz.
Communication Protocols (including data operation): GSM PHASE 2/2+
I purchased an AT&T $100 (prepaid) sim card, inserted in camera, and immediately was able to communicate from my cellphone to the camera via SMS. The problem Im having is that upon request, "the camera will not send a MMS (photo) to my phone. Although the camera acknowledges (via SMS) my request for the MMS photo, after processing the camera sends me the following message, "unable to send MMS photo because the network is busy." (To check if the AT&T camera "sim" card was the problem, I inserted the camera sim into my cell phone and sent an MMS to my wife and it worked perfectly. Therefore the issue is not the AT&T Sim-card for the camera, but lies in the reconfiguration of the Camera for the following perameters:
1. Set MMS center (address of AT&T) for WAP.
2. Set APN parameters for WAP.
3. Sending MMS message via HTTP: Add a network provider's ISP and MMSC onto the list. ISP should be the GSM network provider's ISP name. MMSC should be the MMS center address. Such as http://mmsc:8002, also add APN parameters onto the list.
I've been to the AT&T wireless satellite offices and NO help available there. The network configuration is obviously an AT&T issue. How can I find a qualified AT&T networking tech to address this issue?

I'm having the same problem with no where to turn for resources. I tried the following AT&T supplied settings to no avail:
APN: wap.cingular
UN: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
PW: CINGULAR1
Port: 80
MMSC: http:\\mmsc.cingular.com
Proxy: wireless.cingular.com
IP: 66.209.11.61
Let me know if you crack the code.

Are you sure its the at&t network fault. I've tried to configure the unit in Australia with telstra but have had no luck receiving mms messaging.
Has anyone got mms messaging to work?
