Can calendar appointments appear color coded like the new iPhone?

Hello!

I was wondering if appointments, which I color code in Outlook, can be made to appear in color on the Sync.  Here's how it looks on iPhone:

Would love to see this on the Sync as well  Any suggestions?

I don't think this is possible without a third party app like Pocket Informant.

Do you think he meant "Tilt" when he said "Sync"?

I have Pocket Informant and it's definitely possible.  I can't remember if you could do it with straight Pocket Outlook.

It can be done with Standard Outlook on a PC, via categories. and it can not be done with Pocket Outlook. But it does work with Pocket Informant.

Whew! Glad to know you can upgrade the PIM on a Pocket PC, if it doesn't suit your needs and you need customization. ;-)

Also, isn't seamlessly syncing with Outlook rather convenient!

if only outlook would stop deleting all of my calendar items, contacts, tasks, etc., even though I tell activesync to prefer the device over the computer.

I don't even sync anything with outlook anymore just to be safe.

sorry to hear that man, i haven't had that issue. I have had the slight inconvenience of WMDC saying their were changes and need to resync the entire db. But knock on wood that hasn't happened in a few months.

Are you using AS 4.5 and a Tilt? Because, back when  I had XP, and had the same config and no issues. What version of Outlook are you using?

Of course WMDC was a complete pain.

but with windows XP, I have been using ActiveSync 4.5, a Tilt, and I *was* using outlook 2003. Now, I don't have any version of outlook because I don't want to risk anything.
