I need an unlock code for my Palm Treo 680

I have been trying to get an unlock code for my Palm Treo 680 so I can use it here in Brazil. I am unable, since I'm IN Brazil right now, to call support, such as it is.

I did get my mother to make a couple of calls for me, but the unlock code provided by an 'Alex" was incorrect. I have also tried to get into live chat, but jave been unable to register an account. I'm figuring that's because I haven't had an AT&T account since January of last year.

So, can I get someone from AT&T to contact me via email so we can make me a happy ex-customer? My addresses are:

I don't think so. It is in the phone itself that is locked to ATT.

Ok. That's what I thought. Thanks again. I'm thinking I'm not going to get to use this Palm phone for some reason. The unlock code I paid for, and that the AT&T rep "Alex" gave my mother are both the same AND they work when I have my AT&T SIM in the phone, but not when I have either the TIM or Vivo SIMs from here in Brazil. SO I think that somehow, for some reason, this particular Treo 680 is hard-locked to the AT&T network. I know I can unlock a Palm Treo 680 FROM the AT&T network, because I did it with my OTHER Treo, before it was stolen.
