Well where do i begin this is my second lg vu from walmart,i have had this phone now for a 2 weeks it works fine my main? is the phone has been charging now for about 17 hrs and still showing that it is charging. But when i unplug the charger it shows it as being fully charged but this is my second time doing this and i never get a charge complete at all on the phone telling me the i have a full charge .Any suggestions out there on what might be wrong or is it the battery,it is a new phone like i said.Should i let it charge that long again any more after it needs a charge.I was told by an at&t tech support person that i should take out the battery and put it back in c what happens did that,i was also told to let it go completely dead on me did that also and still showing that it is charging.HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP.
Take and exchange the battery and see if that resolves the issue, if not then exchange the phone again.

I dont know how Wal-Mart will handle it, but a corporate owned ATTM store would use a packaged battery and not one from a boxed phone.

Ok so they have just batteries there or do they have to take 1 out of another phone, or an unopened box.

I charge my Vu only when the battery runs down and it seems to charge well. My phone DOES say it's charged
when it's through and I DO charge it while on. I would talk to AT&T customer service about the problem. I don't talk on mine
24/7, but I do text a lot and it holds a charge for a long time. My battery is the original one that came with the Vu from
a Best Buy. I also bought the Zagg cover shield and I don't think you can remove them and put them back on.......it is well
worth the $25 cost to keep the screen from breaking if you drop it. You can get on the Zagg website and it will tel you if you
can re-use, but I'm pretty sure you can't........easy to peel off though.....

My girlfriend and I just got 2 new Vu's. She is running into the same issue. Here is the problem pasted from lg-vu.com website.
My gf's Red Vu does not display charging complete. Is this a Red Vu issue? My black one was complete about 2 hours after I plugged it in, with one bar of battery power. Hers was more drained but was left plugged in overnight. She was worried the battery was funky so the next day we went to replace the battery.
second night, with same red VU but new battery and my battery charger...same thing happened. Charged overnight without ever reaching charging complete status. This is like a 10-12 hour period. That can't be normal?!
Now we went back (third day in a row) and got a completely different phone and battery. Supposedly all new. It's been going for 6 hours and still no complete charging signal. She had 2 bars when she started to charge it too. Meanwhile, mine was dying and got to 3 bars in less than 2 hours.
Will it ever say charging complete? what will it take to get this thing to top off? will the battery get burned out from constant full charging and not the trickle charge? Is this a specific issue with only red vus? Should she get a black one like mine?
Update: My phone battery died last night, (doing 1st battery cycle), and after charging again read "charging complete" during the middle of the night. Meanwhile, gf's phone, which started with 3/4 battery power, continued charging throughout the night, never reading "charging complete". This is the 2nd wine colored phone that has done this.
When she gets home I'm going to run the diagnostics mode on the phone and see if it turns anything up. After that it's a FOURTH day in a row back to Radioshack to solve the issue. I am thinking she just needs to get a black phone. I will be sure to tell the manager they need to alert their DM and their ATT phone rep.
hte color of the phone has no effect on it theyre the same inside....i would maybe try your battery in her phone with your charger and see what happens as far as diagnostics no idea but try what i suggested and see what happens....
Yeah I thought about that, but really it wouldn't help. If it doesn't charge the battery her phone is still screwed. If my phone charges it fine then it still proves the phone needs to be replaced. We tried replacing the battery once before and I shouldn't have to keep driving out to the store this much to get a working phone. Either way the phone needs to be replaced. I shouldn't have to try different batteries over and over. There is no way a battery with 3/4 takes over 12 hours to charge. Yeah we could leave it in all week and maybe it will charge after 48 hours, but what then? I would opt to replace the phone as that is rediculous and not normal.
I know this isn't Radioshack's fault but man...this sucks.

Nah...it's not the color of the phone. I had a wine colored one and it charged perfectly. It will say "carge complete" when it's
through. Something is wrong with the phone and I would take it back.......

Has anybody really answered this, Has AT&T or LG answered it yet. Guessing answers from the peanut gallery really does not help.
My new LG VU CU920, will not stop charging, it has been on the charger more 24 hours. I have the Wine color one. My friend has the same phone in black, he is not expierencing this problem. I've swapped with his battery and charger, still the same. His phone works fine with mine. I've let the phone run down. The battery showes 3 bars, but never completed charging. I work on computers, when I see that 2 things happen like this, the laptop fries the battery or never gets it topped off. It always turns out to be a voltage regulator on the mother board. Hence what will happen on my phone.
