LG Xenon Voicemail problem.

So not too long ago, I recieved the LG Xenon.

I tried setting up the voicemail, and when it asks to press the corresponding number, the machine doesn't respond whether the number is dailed by the qwerty keyboard or the touch screen.

Strangely, the touchscreen works just fine when I used it to dial my house number and the apps to see if it's functioning right.

When I took it to a retailer, the clerk had the same problem trying to figure it out and set up my voice mail on a different phone, but yet, the machine still doesn't respond to the dailed number when the SIM card is put back into my LG Xenon after the voice mail was set up.

So he suggested to go to a corp. store and return the phone, get a refund/exchange for a new phone.

Is anyone else having problems?

Enable or Disable DTMF tones

From the standby screen, tap the menu icon.
Tap the settings icon.
Tap Call.
Tap On or Off.

I can't believe the att staff at the stores didn't even know what to do to help me with this problem.

Hello, I got an LG Xenon for Christmas, and freinds have been calling, which most of the time i do not talk on, just text. The voicemail does not work, and i do not know how to set it up. please help me, other than this snaffoo of the voicemail, i love this phone. thanks - david

Dial the voicemail number, follow the prompts.

If that doesn't work, you may need your voicemail box reset by customer service.
