Pantech Impact-Ending a call

Is there an easy way to end a call with the cover closed? When I finish a call I try tapping the hangup icon on the outside but nothing happens. Is there an easy way to hangup without having to hit the unhold button on the side before hitting the hangup icon? Thank you.

I figured out what to do in order to end a call on the Pantech Impact's front touch sensitive keypad. Instead of hitting the end button to end the call, you have to press the cancel button in the top right hand corner.

Never mind. It still has the problem with ending the call. I don't know what it's doing.

tmm242, I wonder if the sensor on the upper left hand corner of the phone has anything to do with not being able to end a call when the phone is closed.
