Pantech Laser Issues

Hello,
I have been using your new Pantech Laser phone. I found a few issues that need to be addressed in a software update. Not sure if this should be directed to AT&T or Pantech so I will be forwarding the message to both..
Issue #1
T9 Input is NOT available when replying to a conversation, but is available when creating a new message. I am sure this is an oversight and it needs to be fixed.
Issue #2
When sending MMS messages, you cannot enter a subject, I have searched the manual, the internet, and the phone it's self, there is no way to insert a subject for an MMS message, causing all messages to have the subject "No Subject"
Please respond to my email to let me know if the issue will be addressed or not and if I am sending this to the right or wrong people, I will be awaiting a response

Hey Joe, just wondering if you'd been able to find out anything on the missing T9 issue on text replies? My son just picked up a new Laser yesterday and discovered his phone also has this issue. Been scouring the web looking for any info on this we could find and have found very little to go on. Perhaps these are isolated issues that aren't affecting a large number of users, like maybe the operating software didn't properly load on a batch of phones or something like that? If it was an actual bug in the software you'd have to think it would have been discovered by now and a fix would have already been made available for it?

The T9 reply is only offered when you click & open a specific message inside of the conversation. It takes you to the single message (white type/black background) - click reply at the bottom and your T9 option is there. This drove me crazy for a few weeks! My teens couldn't even figure it out, and I discovered it accidentally. Hope this saves some frustration for y'all!!

I had my Laser for a couple of weeks now. About 2 to 3 times per week I have to reboot the phone, because when I go to make a call, I get a "Emergency calls only" message. A simple rebooting fixes the problem for another couple of days, then the same thing happens all over again. If there isn't a fix for this, looks like I'll be returning the phone to the ATT store, and picking out another crappy phone, with all new bugs for that "Total ATT Experience"...I think their new slogan should read "Bend over, I'll drive"......lol

trying to find out how to add words to the t9 dictionary in the pantech laser phone...i've looked in the manual and it gives steps on how to use t9 but not on how to add words to the dictionary that aren't in there..words such as lil, somethin, hun, and so on. If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know!! It's been driving me crazy!!

try popping the battery out and taking out the sim card and reinserting them, that might help fix your emergency only calls, otherwise if it keeps happening, i would return it to the store ![]()

i dont think thats the problem because everyone i know who has this phone including me has had problems with it.
