I bought a Pantech Laser less than a year ago and have had nothing but problems with it. I continually get the message emergency calls only with it, even though I have a full signal. When talking with tech support or warranty about this issue, I just get the run around. First they say it's the Sim card, replace that and I still get the same problem. Now they say it's the towers in my area, it doesn't matter what area I'm in, I still get the message. Has anyone else had this issue with this phone???

I have had the same problem and dont notice it and wont recieve messages. You have to turn it on and off sometimes. I think its just the phone. Also i have had mine a little over a year and now it wont charge at all and wont turn on. It was a good phone for a little while but now i wouldnt recommend it. It also when i pressed the call button on the screen went to contacts instead. I dont know if you've had that problem before or not? Also my friend has the same phone and she had to get it replaced because of the same problem with charging. Hopefully it doesnt happen to yours.

I experienced the problem with having three or four bars where I can not sned or recieve messages or make a phone call.  It will work for a couple of messages, then nothing will work.  I see the reception bars and the reception is fine.  I would have to turn it off, then back on and sometimes it works.  This was my problem on vacation.  Now I have to wait until I can qualify for an upgrade.  Phone is less than one year old.

one more thing, I get duplicate messages four or five times of the same message.  Seems to be a pantech laser problem

I have had the same problem, plenty of ars, no service.  Was a big problem when I was on vacation. I had to walk outside to get any service.
