Pantech Pursuit II -- Calendar issues!!!!

OK - literally just bought this phone today and used the Samsung Flight previously.  I have never had a cell phone in the last ten years that had a calendar option but did not also have the option to set your appointments as recurring whether weekly, monthly, yearly, etc.  This is bologna. Who in the world wants to enter weekly appointments every week for the entire year when you should be able to select repeating and then say how often to repeat and when to stop? Really!!  This seems like a waste to even have the calendar on this phone. I am a mom who likes to be organized and I have always depended on the phone's calendar to get all us from practice to doctor appointments to school functions. I am returning this device tomorrow in the hopes that I can find another phone with a normal calendar function. Please -- if you know of a way to do this on the Pursuit II that I missed, let me know. I followed the tutorial online and looked in the owner's manual but saw no way to set recurring appointments!!
