Is there a way to remove apps from the Samsung Impression?
Everyday i'm getting numerous text messages from this Iskoot - AT&T social networking app. Basically every time someone updates their facebook status. ![]()
I have gone in and disabled every notification I can find, I've registered the thing to a (555) 555-5555 number so it sends notifications there instead but I still get them. I've tried disabling it and removing my facebook sign in information but that doesn't seem to be possible. I have it set to never sign in and yet I'm still getting these alerts.
So at the very least I'd like to be able to remove clear out any and all facebook account information from this thing. It would be preferable though, If I could do that AND completely remove the app from the phone. Does anyone know of a way to do that?

Hi eph3x,
Thank you for trying AT&T Social Net. We regret any inconvenience you've experienced and we hope we can help.
What you describe does not appear to be normal behavior for the application. Typically, you should be able to turn off notifications by going to Settings and unchecking the box for "Notify if Exit." Then just be sure to select "Exit Social Net" from the "More" menu rather than Minimize or Suspend.
From your post it sounds like you may have already tried this. If it's not working, our QA team would be happy to turn off your account manually. Just let us know via PM what number it's pointing to and we'll make sure the notifications stop.
Sincere regards, and thank you for reaching out.
