Solstice Time Setting

Hi:  Just got a Solstice and have figured out most of my stuff, but there isn't a way that I can find to change the time....mine is about 5 minutes slow.  i've gone into the time settings, but it only gives me an option of 12 or 24 hours (it was set for 12) and how to present the date, but it won't let me change the time.  Any help is appreciated.  Thought I wanted a Backflip but when I saw them in the store, they were bulky.  This is kind of like my Vu, but more up-dated and not so "touchy" on the touch screen.  Thanks......oh and should it be set for 12 hours, which is the way it came?

Hi! All you need to do is turn off your phone, give it a few seconds (30 should do), then turn it back on. It should update the time. Since I've owned mine, one of the few things that actually have worked on the phone is the time update. Good luck!

oh.....sorry to hear you don't like your Solstice.  I did turn my phone off and then on again and it updated perfectly.  I love mine!  I have it completely figured out and even ringtones and pictures assigned to each caller.  It is SO much better than my other touch phone (Vu) and hopefully it will last me a long time.  If you don't have internet, I suggest that because you can get on that accidentally often.......at least I do.  It has way better touch than my Vu, on the QWERTY texting, and a great internet phone, a well as other things.  Thanks for your help and hope you can change yours for another one as it seems that one might be messed up.

I've had my Solstice for a week now and I activated the Family Data Plan today. Looking forward to finally playing on the internet without the $30 monthly fee...

Did you have to upload pics onto a memory disk before you could assign them to caller ID?
