USBConnect 900 Purchase

Did I make a mistake since I do not have an AT&T email or telephone? I have not been able to set it up in order to use it as it was advertised as a Internet To-Go product. I'm ready to return it to the store. I need internet but am on the road for several more months. IF this product will not work I need to know right away. Hope someone out there has an answer for me. I am not a "techy".

It appears to be a cellualr modem for USB connect on pay as you go, you basicly load the supplied cd / dvd into your laptop / desktop and follow the instructions that are displayed. Then go here
