Anyone know how to geotag photos taken on the 760a? The camera is pretty good and there is a GPS but it does not seem to record the GPS tracks. Perhaps there is some software that someone has experience with that does this nicely. I have seen GPSed, BLIIN, as well as many other just by searching GetJAR.com but it is hard to tell what would be best. Anyone with experience in this are, your insight would be appreciated.

I would like to know too. I have not found any app that can connect to my 760 GPS yet.

I just discovered mine works
, but you have to first turn on the "Add Position" function listed under the Options button when you have the camera active. The "Information" function in the camera's pictures folder doesn't display the GPS coordinates info, but they are in the EXIF, which I verified using the IrfanView freeware file viewer (press E) to display it from my PC. Here's what it listed:
GPS information: -
GPSVersionID - 2.2.0.0
GPSLatitudeRef - N
GPSLatitude - 37 19 23.93
GPSLongitudeRef - W
GPSLongitude - 77 19 42.11
GPSAltitudeRef - Sea level
GPSAltitude - 5 m
GPSVersionID - 2.2.0.0
GPSLatitudeRef - N
GPSLatitude - 37 19 23.93
GPSLongitudeRef - W
GPSLongitude - 77 19 42.11
GPSAltitudeRef - Sea level
GPSAltitude - 5 m
(And the above info was missing from the EXIF data embedded in picture files taken before I turned on "Add Position".)
I first used the GPS Status Info tool to check the Connection Status screen to make sure I had a good fix on the satellites, which may take a couple minutes with the Assist turned off. By the way, have you noticed that if you leave the Assisted Start setting turned on, each time you use GPS such as when using the GPS Status tool, (or I guess also when taking pictures with the "Add Position" turned on in the camera) the Globe icon appears for a little while to indicate data network access (which also corresponds each time to a 7kb/7¢ data charge on my bill). Because of this, I am keeping Assisted Start turned off, however, I would guess that could also result in no GPS location added to a picture if you don't allow sufficient time for it to connect, or if you lose the connection due to a weak/obstructed signal.
It's just a real shame that AT&T branded phones appear to have been crippled for purposes of actually using the GPS with other than AT&T-blessed software apps.

GREAT!
I see that this works as you described, awesome find....
Note the AT&T strips off the EXIF information when you send the picture in a message. You can't do email because you can't add an attachment to the message but an MMS works sans EXIF data. This is true no matter what the picture size...I tried 3MP all the way down to VGA resolution. This means no mobile picture blogging for AT&T users. (The SE site AT&T refers you to says you can do picture blogging but that is another bait and switch by AT&T)
BTW, both AT&T and SE support do not know how to get geotagging to work on the w760a....score one big one for Brian Z -W760 and a gooseegg for AT&T.
