I would appreciate any help I can get.
I just got the eternity. My plan is for 450 talk minutes, and 200 text messages. At this time, I do not subscribe to any data plans. My questions are:
1. Are the pre-loaded games on the phone free, or are they charged data usage charges? I don't know what it means when "Java" shows on the screen if I open a game and I'm worried that it has something to do with the internet.
2. On my home screen, there is an indicator showing 3G+. The manual says this means data is being transfered. Am I using the internet service an don't know it?
3. In some of the menus, such as in "My Stuff", there is a lock symbol next to some choices, or a lock with the letters "sys" on top of it. What does that mean?
4. If I accidently push CV or TV or something, and it comes on the screen, am I going to be charged for it even if I turned it off right away?

If you need to d/l data to use a feature / function you will get asked - something like " you are trying to access the internet do you want to continue?"
So I don't think you need to worry about being charged for data.
The 3g+ icon just shows that you are connected to the system - again no extra charges.
The sys and lock code indicates that the item is native - or came with the original operating sysem - you cannot delete it.
With the CV and the TV - you will be prompted by the warning asking if you want to continue. There is probably a 30 day free trial on most features anyway - but you will almost always get asked if you wsant to continue.
