so i am thinking about getting the sony ericsson Z750A (either in pink or gray) and i am very curious about your opinions on the phone...

Once debranded it's quite good, IMHO.

what's debranded?

on the front...that invisible display or whatever...does that light up and have caller id when someone is calling?

Debranded means flashing it with generic (non-AT&T) firmware.

Yes, the invisible display shows the phone number or the name from your address book for an incoming call.

i've had this phone about 3 months now i love it. i have the pink one and i get so much complimants on it. this phone gives you everything you need, a mp3 player, video, text, internet, and so much more. my battery life is good about 4 days average, but i allow to run my battery all the way down and then charge it fully and that helps with the battery life. i would look at the reviews that people have, here is a link to my personal review that i wrote http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-phone-service/cell-phone-details/?q_tab=reviews&device=Sony+Ericsson+Z750a++-+Pink&q_sku=sku2380282. look for the one written by cozyheart. hope this helps you.

Z750a is a good phone. Looks a little bulky but it is a good phone. I am using it.  You check hte phone here - http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_ericsson_z750-1929.php  It has reviews, photos, options etc. It has almost all the options. If you debrand you will get more option and may loose some options. Yes, the outside LCD shows up when you get a call or press any outside buttons. Never heard of any major problems.

go with grey, that's the one i have

well, my complain is the battery life, i have about 2 days of battery life before its in red and i have to charge it again

and the camera only takes decent pic in day light, all the other lighting condition will give you pretty bad picture

the respond is a little slow sometimes, you pressed a key and the phone "thinks" a little, then respond.

but since i am getting the best deal out of the other phone choices with the SE Z750a, so i go with it. i was upgrading from a old old phone, so i am happy (except for the battery life)
