So after pre-ordering my Samsung Galaxy Note on Tuesday Feb. 7th of last week (only 2 days after they began accepting pre-orders) I get an email at 2AM (completely useless time for an email), that my order was cancelled with this exact text, "Unfortunately, either we have not heard from you in several days, or you have chosen to cancel your order. In either case, this e-mail confirms your order cancellation."
So considering I had already recieved and email on Feb 7th. stating that my order could not be cancelled at this point, I was confused to say the least.
After a long chat with the WORST AT&T supervising representative on the face of the planet, named Ashley {Personal content removed}, they eventually tell me that my credit card company has declined the transaction. Now I must call my credit card company.
After a short chat with a very helpful representative from my credit card company, they say that no charge was ever attempted from AT&T; also stating that either the charge was never made from AT&T's end, or they entered the incorrect card information.
So I call AT&T back only to get the same supervising representative, Ashley {Personal content removed}, who continued to deny that wrong information was entered and that the credit card company has declined the transaction. I explain that the credit company has absolutely verified that it never recieved any such transaction, but she still continues to blame them. At this point her tone and word choice are quite rude and I'm assuming she is very annoyed with me expecting the most basic of customer service.
Now I need the communities feedback as to what the status of your pre-orders are, because she told me that even if the original transaction I had made on the 7th had gone through, that it would be backordered and wouldn't have arrived tomorrow any ways. She claimed that even some people who pre-ordered on the 5th were not going to have their devices arrive tomorrow.
Everyone let me know if you have recieved shipping confirmation on your Galaxy Note and what day you pre-ordered on, I think the rep. was full of complete Bee-Es!

Just go to the store on Sunday and pick one up. Never understand the need for pre-order. It is not an iPhone. Ppl are not going to line up for this phone.
AT&T's online ordering is the worst. Last time I tried order a case from it. It got stuck somewhere for over a month. I called and no one knows what's going on. I can't cancel through website either (Premier account). Have to call and cancel my order.
I will never ever order anything through AT&T site. For a new phone, I found stores are actually cheaper.

Be careful with that. You will end up with no phone. Your upgrade can only be used once. If your order with AT&T site is still open, you won't be able to get a phone (at the discounted price) in store.
I believe original pre-order page said orders shipping out no late than 2/17. Never mentioned of delivery to you at 2/17. Since 2/18 is Saturday, you won't receive anything anyway because FedEx won't deliver on weekends (unless AT&T pays for the weekend delivery which they don't)

I just got off the phone with a rather rude employee at AT&T and his understanding was that the phones will be shipped tomorrow and they will arrive on Monday. I then proceeded to ask, "What's the point of then reordering?" He responded, "So you can receive it before anyone else"...... UM! Monday IS NOT before everyone else. I then told him if my GF wanted to go get it on Sunday in the store she would get it before me. He then changed his answer to, oh yes it will go out today apparently. This is a complete joke! I am never preordering a phone ever again.
I preorderd it on the 5th at 1pm Central time...I am so frsutrated and anxious to receive the phone!

Well that is what i have been checking in on for the past week. It still shows "in progress" and "shipping pending" so idk. Honestly I think AT&T has no clue what they are doing.
But I will keep the faith that it will arrive tomorrow, I want it so dang bad!

I just checked my order status online and my pre-order, from Feb. 8th, has just been shipped with an expected delivery date for tomorow. I haven't received an email notification from AT&T yet.
Log in and check your order status.

Yes, by all means just go into the store on Sunday and walk about with the phone. I attempted to pre-order through Best Buy, that was horrible.
This pre-order stuff for this phone was all a big hype - much easier just to walk into the store and walk out with it on Sunday - just spoke with the store closest to me and the phone will be there for me to get.

I already called AT&T, I thinkt he orders are ready to be shipped. One of the rep I spoke to said they're waiting to be picked up, within 24 hours, it should either arrive tomorrow or Saturday. I ordered mines on the 12 and so far I'm not worried too much about it. I've ordered a phone through AT&T before and they sent it on the ETA shipment date. I think their system is slow to pick some stuff up. But I'm hoping like everyone else who pre-ordered the said device that it arrives before the 19th. I paid full price on this phone and I would be hella upset if it arrives AFTER everyone else got theirs.

I'm sure you guys will love the Note, I'm definately taking a ride up to our local Premier Store to play with it.. I'm just curious and a bit disappointed it won't have ICS on it?? I'm sure it will get it when we (GSII owners) see it but seeing the Nexus came out weeks ago with ICS you'd think the Note would have it also.. yes??

I finally received confirmation (sort of) that my Note should arrive tomorrow. I received the email with the shipping and tracking number, but the USPS website does not have an estimated delivery time, only an arrival at the sorting center in memphis, tn. I hope it arrives in Tulsa, Ok tomorrow, as promised.

There's rumors that the Note will get ICS around March along with the SII. Not sure if there's truth to this. I read in one of the tech forums.
I still haven't gotten any tracking # like everyone else. Well, this is frustrating...:smileyfrustrate

I ordered on the 6th and says should arrive at 3 tomrro,Talked to a AT&T rep this morning and she said that anyone that preordered before 3 today will get it by tomorrow.

That's for international vesions. AT&T versions won't be that fast. I'd say late summer at the earliest.
Galaxy Note is an older phone than Galaxy Nexus (US always late to get the latest and greatest phones). And currently only Nexus phones have ICS because they get the update straight from Google. Others have to wait their manufacturers to customize and stablilize before we see it.

Anyone receive their phone yet? Just checked with my mail lady and she told me it will arrive tomorrow. I am, needless to say, FURIOUS! Did At&t not send them overnight?!(it's coming throuhg USPS for me)

If mine does not arrive today, I will be calling Customer Service and demanding a credit in the amount of $25 per day that it is late. I would have purchased it in store on Sunday, if I didn't care about getting it early.

AT&T sucks! I pre-ordered the Note on the 5th of Febuary (the first day you could) and have gone through a nerve racking day since. This evil company only sent the phone out yesterday (16th) from Memphis, TN and thought that it one day it could magically come to San Francisco in a truck. The AT&T store that I was shipping the Note ignored my calls for hours and at 4 PM finally picked up saying they have nothing. Of course AT&T chooses the cheepest shipping option so I don't even know if my package left yet. I am thinking strongly about just leaving this horid company for good. ![]()
