Re: Have any of you Travelled to the UK?
Hi Kerry78! Nice to meet you. :smileyhappy: I have never personally been to the U.K. But my mother has. That was the very first time she has ever flown, too. Went there with one of her neighbors, who was from England, and went to visit family and some sightseeing. She loved it!

I am from Pennsylvania U.S.A. Welcome to the forum. :smileyhappy:

Re: Have any of you Travelled to the UK?
Well, I hope you feel better soon. I guess it's that time of the year for colds and have just recently gotten over one, myself, so I know how you feel.

That would be great it if you could get to New York. Were you ever in the U.S.? New York is definitely a great place to see. I only live a few hours from there and have gone with friends just for a day to do some shopping. Little italy, a section of the city, is a GREAT place for some good food. :smileywink:

lol when or if you folks visit here visit Carphone Warehouse or Phones4u and get yourself a Cheap mobile

you don't want any un-pleasant ATT bills :smileytongue:

if you visit any of the UK networks stores there handsets are locked on PAYG and they will require a £19.99 fee to get them unlocked but Carphone Warehouse are normally Sim free on PAYG handsets

hope thats some help to you if your coming over anytime soon :smileywink:

Birds are very smart, and parakeets are in the parrot family, IIRC?

Very nice!  Are they blood-relations?  All in different cages?  Do they have free roam of your home?

Is the image size too large? If so, try downsizing the picture.

I think it's because Safari does not have Flash support. I have to upload pictures and insert them using my Android phone, which does have Flash.

Nice bird! :smileyhappy:

Re: Have any of you Travelled to the UK?

The second one worked I had Click To Flash enabled in Safari soon I will not have to worry about it since few if any will keep supporting it. But for all those that have had issues in Lion with Safari and have CTF installed remember to disable in order to upload on a site that uses Flash.

Re: Have any of you Travelled to the UK?
*Pretty bird* We had a parakeet when I was a kid, and we would say pretty bird to her all the time. Do these birds like the same phrase? And we thought she was a he, until we found her dead in her cage one morning. Vet said she died trying to pass/lay an egg? I was only 3, and still makes me sad. :smileysad:

Re: Have any of you Travelled to the UK?

They are like a dog or cat as long as you talk to them in a loving manor they think they are being praised except for the word bad which over time they all relate to something they have done that you do not approve of the difference between birds and other pets scolding

other than telling them bad bird and put them back in their cage only intensifies their bad behavior. If you praise them they try and repeat the action they thrive on attention or at least ours does.
