I find it highly unlikely that AT&T will do the right thing and update any first gen phone to anything newer than the 7720 update. Even though this update addresses a few fixes that one could say are necessary. All AT&T cares about is the $$. Not the user. If we don't get it they expect us to buy a new one. Please AT&T prove me wrong.
