I also emailed the Office of the President and the guy that called me back was really nice, professional (& competent) and is looking into both the update and the environment here in the forums. 

I also spoke with someone in the "Urgent Care" technical support team.  He suggested that anyone with the problem call customer service and describe the issue so that widespread nature of the problem is logged and will get more attention.
