It does seem like a hassle to have to call in and be transferred four times just to reschedule. Maybe the OP is one of those customers who calls sales to reschedule a dispatch instead of technical support... If you feel like you're not getting the attention you need, ask them to transfer you to tier two. If you're being billed and have no service as of yet, that's an easy credit back. Just bear in mind, ATT starts charging at the initial install date, not when you actually have the service.
Anyway, seems like a very easy fix, but you don't want help.
