I need to talk to someone so maybe one of you can send me in the right direction.
I live in Texas and about three months ago a contractor for AT&T underground lines was installing new lines in our area. When he dug the trench in front of my house he dug it in a pre-existing ditch which had been there forever. Shorty after he left we got a heavy rain and the rain washed out his backfill. This backfill collected in front of my culvert in the form of large rocks and silt and created a dam of sorts. The diverted water then left the ditch and washed away parts of my driveway. He also did not back drag all the loose material from the digging and now I have a rock problem in sections of my yard so bad that I cannot mow my yard with a lawnmower. I am over 60 and using a weed eater to cut grass is not fun. I also do not want to foot the bill to re-stabilize my ditch and dig out the dam.
He also has not replaced the fence at the entrance to our subdivision that he had to remove for the installation.
So I am looking for information to get this corrected. Anyone have any suggestions?

Send a PM to Alex who is an AT&T Community Manager on this forum.

It varies, but it shouldn't be very long. He will be in touch with you though.

I have been watiing over a year for AT&T to move a line out of a ditch in front of my property. The burial depth has caused the water to divert over my yard and has done considerable damage to it. I am on the phone now getting passed around after over an hour waiting for help. I really am disapointed in AT&T and never really believed the horor storied I have heard but I am living one now.
