This is so crazy. I can't believe a big company do this kind of under the table thing. I received notification I am automatically enrolled in the $25 data plan without my consent.

I have been using AT&T for more than 5 or 6 years. This is the first time I've experienced this kind of thing. I have the basic phone plan. Don't use any function at all. I've been using the old LG for years and replaced it with an old blackberry two years ago. Again, I only use the phone service and none of the smart phone stuff. That wasn't a problem. My friend gave me his Samsung Blackjack two weeks ago when my blackberry was broken. I received notification from AT&T I'm automatically enrolled in the $25 data plan due to my "smart" phone. What part of smart am I using? I don't use it for anything but PHONE! I don't need no stinking "smart" feature. AT&T doesn't own the phone. I OWN IT. I USE IT FOR PHONE ONLY. I DON'T WANT TO BUY A NEW PHONE. I JUST WANT TO USE A PHONE SOMEONE GAVE ME. IT'S MINE! IT'S NOT STOLEN. WHO IS TO SAY I HAVE TO PAY $25 FOR A SERVICE I DON'T USE?

IF AT&T doesn't go back to my original calling plan, I WILL CANCEL THIS SERVICE I'VE USED FOR 6 YEARS!
