AT@T Customer since 1998, doesn't matter!

I've been a customer of at@t since 1998. I recieve no special offers other than the usual spam and mailers. Customer service professionals have told me that they can do nothing for me. All I want is some special treatment. I pay my bills on time every month. I'm wondering what can be done before I change my service provider? TTFN!

Nope, nobody gets any real special treatment.

crookjames..I've been a customer since around 1994 or '95..can't remember because it's been so long and I don't get any special treatment either...none of us do, if it's any consolation to you.

May I ask, what type of special treatment are you expecting??

Customer since approximately. '95
Hope you still have an unlimited data plan.
There's your special treatment.
And whenever I have to talk to a CR, they always point out that I have been a long time customer, and always work hard to solve my issues.
I have never been let down by customer service.
Peace

I get special treatment for being a long time customer. Whenever I call 611 they say "You've been a customer since xxxx. Thank you for being part of AT&T." (But they don't actually help me with the issue I'm calling about. I've had nothing but headaches.) Anyway that's the special treatment :-) Honestly they don't care how long you've been with them, the only thing that matters is how much $$$ they make from you. If you have a 5 line family plan and pay for 3000 minutes, unlimited text, 3gb of data on each line, and your bill is like $370 a month - then you'll get discounts and early upgrades.

Re: AT@T Customer since 1998, doesn't matter!

Like most the other comments I have been an AT&T client since 2000 and they treat me worse I think, I went through AT&T Wireless to Cingular back to ATT Wireless.  It has been a joke, I am having issues they won't resolve.  In the past they have charged me for services I did not sign up for yet they say you must have, but they look back 3-4 months and find out I turned them off a setup my service not to allow it, yet in a couple months the charges come back.  It is funny how all of this works.  Pay your bill on time or be cut off but oh sorry we charged you for things you did not purchase we though you might want it even though you told us no.  Yes most of the charges were credited back but not all because after 90 days they can't do anything and it is my fault I did not look at my bill for the $10 charge on my wifes phone or son's phone.  Which have all things turned off to even be able to charge to those lines.

Ask for a purchase blocker, its free, andbitbstops companies (not att) from attaching them to your line.
