Okay so I have a feeling the answer is going to be no.
But I have an LG Vu and I LOVED that phone. But it got washed [in the washing machine] and of course it messed up.
Well we put it in some rice and took it apart and let it dry out. For a long time, it's been over a year.

And the phone works now. Just fine. It's like it's brand new. Except that it doesn't make any noise. No matter what it won't make any noise. You can hear on it when you get calls, people can hear you. The touch screen works, everything is fine it's just silent all the time. I've done everything I can think of.

Does anyone have a clue on how to get the sound back?

I mean I have another phone now that I use but my mom needs a new cellphone and I was hoping I could fix my Vu and trade her the phone I have now. Because I really loved the Vu. My best friend has had hers since they came out and hers still works like it's brand new. She's never had a problem with it.
