Do not choose AT&T! Bad experience with their customer no-service.

Here is my latest experience.  You decide if you want to experience this type of customer no-service.  Four days ago the internet connection failed - called the 800 number and was connected to India.  AT&T India explained to me that the problem was server based and a service ticket would be generated.  AT&T India gave me a "special" 800 number to call so I could speak with tech support.  Still having connectivity problems, I call the special number and get connected to the Phillipines or Malaysia.  Apparently, the 800 number I was given was not special.  AT&T Phillipines tells me there is trouble with the line.  They are going to send out a technician.  2 days later, I call again, this time I reach America.  AT&T America cannot understand what AT&T India or AT&T Philipines did, and tells me that she needs to create a ticket.  Mind you - every time I call I have to sit through the automated prompt system that is one of the worst I have ever experienced.  AT&T America transfers me to AT&T advanced technical support - who proceeds to adjust a software setting.  All of that to adjust a software setting.  Please carefully consider who you want to be your service provider.  If I had a choice, I would switch in an instant.  Unfortunately, I'm stuck based on where I live.
