have you tried calling the Worldnet support group? from what i remember, when you want to upgrade from worldnet dial to att dsl service, you could call the worldnet billing group and ask them to change your current worldnet service to the "0-charge" service.

in that way, you can keep your worldnet accounts active without paying for the dial up account.
