Re: Constant connection drops in metro Atlanta

Try contacting Alex, one of the AT&T Community Managers for further assistance.

My modem is a new modem/router.  I have a dedicated DSL jack with a filter installed by an AT&T tech.   I do not have a tv near the modem; i don't even have a cordless phone in the house.  No new appliances have been added. The past 10 days or 2 weeks we have constant disconnects, several per hour at times, or could go several hours without one.

I called DSL tech support 4/13 in the evening and the tech got as far as trying to run 3 diff't line tests and none would run, telling me that meant it was a network issue.. midsentence we were disconnected.  Despite his having asked my callback number, no he did not call me back and the drops continue.  I'm north of the city in Cherokee county.

Anyone else with this issue cropping up recently?
