E-mail Sub-accoun t Has Been Locked and We Cannot Get Help

We have an e-mail account with AT&T (we have had the e-mail since it was SBC Global) and this weekend two of the sub-accounts were hacked. After spending 1.5 hours on the phone Monday we got the security issues with one of the sub-accounts resolved. Unfortunately we have tried multiple time with the other sub-account and haven't been able to actually get hold of anyone to help us. Every time we call, and we have tried at least four different phone numbers, we end out being routed to the U-verse support people who do not handle e-mail issues. Very frustrating!
We could not remember the security questions for the sub-account and have been totally locked out of it from our end. I would prefer to contact someone via e-mail to get the account unlocked (I have already spent too much time on the phone). Is there any way this can be done? If I must call someone is there a phone number that will get me directly to the support staff for e-mail. At this point we have completely lost access to the sub-account but we don't wish to lose it completely. Is there a procedure we can follow?
