I just got mine to perfectly. Unfortunately it wasn't free.  I went to Best Buy, bought a new wireless router (netgear) and plugged it into the AT&T modem / router.  I had to do this because you can't set the DNS server manually on a Roku.  Anyway, I hooked up the netgear, manually set it's DNS server to google (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4), turned off the AT&T wireless radio, and pointed the Roku at the netgear router.  Everything works 100%! Granted, it's not a free fix, and probably can't be done by your average home user, but there is a way around the problem.  Now I've got to get ahold of AT&T and see if they'll knock my bill down to help defray the cost of the router!
