Why?
Main reason is that it's not really supported. It's possible but if you have connection issues the techs won't really be able to help much your own routers connection settings. Just trying to keep it open for support so you don't get yourself mixed up.
The reason that they both can't have the wireless enabled is that they'll both try and assign IP addresses to the devices connected to the network when they can really only have one. It would be like a house with two addresses.
