u verse internet only going about half speed

We have uverse 12mb internet at our house. Its been going about 7mb since we got it and it occasionally went to like 9mb but recently its been taking like 5 minutes to load one 3 minute youtube video, thats not even in hd. so i am wondeing what could i do to make my internet to the speed we pay for?

Are you getting the same speeds with both wired and wireless connections?

Which U-verse gateway do you have?  Also, do you have U-verse TV?

no i just have the internet. and i dont know how to find the gateway.

The gateway is the router/modem that U-verse provided for the service.

Once you install the tool, please post screenshots of the following tabs: IP/Profile, Error Table, Bitloading, & Coax/HPNA.

 

We can take a look at the screenshots to see if there appears that you might be an issue with your system.
