*apolegies to be over-involved in this thread...I'll try to be brief with this one*

The reason that the cisco boxes were deployed on a limited basis is because this is the way a field test is done.  It's scaled up.  If all goes well (and obviously it didn't...), then they might have considered deploying the cisco's to their other markets as well (depending on what the contract with moto says on that anyways). 

I'm guessing that unless Cisco fixes this, and fixes it fast, its boxes might not make it out of this phase of testing.  I wonder if motorola ever "fixed" the hdmi issue with their boxes...
