I put in the Cisco IPN430MC and it found it no problem, and that seems to work the boxes perfectly.

Same here.

I LOVE my harmony remote.

I did a little tweeking and wonder why the Harmony for both the Cisco DVR and STB insist on

placing a nonfunctioning "Favorites" button on the softkey panel.

I was able to use my Harmony, even though the STB says Cisco on the front, the bottom of the box says Scientific Atlanta (Cisco owned). When I first typed in the Cisco IPN330HD in the Logitech search software it came up blank, but when I searched just the model number it had Scientific Atlanta in front. I did have to use the learning function for the "Back" "U-Bar" and "Recorded Shows" but all the other buttons came in perfectly.

I use:

Cisco PVR (IPN430MC)

I didn't have to train it anything.

I have an OLD Harmony Remote.  I think it was pre-Logitech.  Anyway, what Harmony model do you recommend.  I JUST had the Cisco STB installed.

Agree.  If you use the set top box setting you have a lot of keys to load.  The PVR setting has all of them already in the file.

160  gig is 37 hd 133 sd  + or -     the 320 would be double prolly with maybe a lil extra as win/ce would be all ready there  etc

some have allready posted more than 40 hd  hrs worth

its a variable bit rate so its gonna vary depending on the feed and how many low res commercials  imho
