New install

I have an 8am Saturday install. My house is 2-story with the attic only above the garage. How will they

run the lines to my requested locations? Will I no longer need my phone line that my computer is using now?

What if they run a check and find they need to run Cat5 or Cat6, will they charge me? I am hooking up

5 Tvs with only 1 with HD Dvr. Also, I have heard alot of people complain about losing service from time to time.

Is that seriously something to be concerned about. I am located in North Texas.

The tech will determine that when he/she arrives, unless you have some specific places you want the lines run.  However, have all furniture moved so that they can get to the areas you want the cables run.

No.  You will have a broadband connection that will be provided by the residential gateway.

No.  They will only charge you for it if you have usable coax and you ask them to use Cat5, so I've heard.

I have had the service since December and I have not had any losses of service.  There have been outtages in specific areas but they have been rare.  No need to be concerned.

Let us know how the install goes, and if you have any questions feel free to ask.
