The green cable carries the signals to and from the RG for distribution. Follow the rest of the cables to see where they go.

The green is what carries the data from the NID to the RG and back in the case of internet traffic and channel requests, etc....everything else is distribution of the services requested.

all I want to do is Utilize the Internet or Network connection on the STB receivers instead of Using the Coax I want to use cat5 I have 1 dvr receiver and a regular TV receiver the RG only has 1 coax connection the Green is using Phone. there's nothing that comes out and tells me to do this so I thought I asked Maybe I should of had the tech do it. when they were here.
If I use the Green it's only one connection I need 2 Maybe a switch or another router needs to be ran ? so I can plug in both tv's

Ok, then rewire it all cat 5, if you wish. I have one TV on ethernet and one on coax. They both work fine.

According to his message in March, his brother from Detroit, who works for U-verse, installed a DVR and 2 STB's along with wiring his house with cat5.

Yeah Now I wish I left that lone. I would of been all set But I had wires bundled up in the living room hidden behind furniture My mom got new Furniture. Furniture got moved around. My mom saw the Cat5 laying there. BUSTED. I wound up pulling it out and giving it to a friend. Now that service is Here I'm putting it back up.
I might just run the receiver/dvr Network and leave the coax for the living room cat5 expensive stuff

Heck, if you were willing to pay for the vrad, what's a few bucks for cat5? And you have several months you don't need to worry about your bill.....
BUT, if it ain't broke, leave it the heck alone. And ask your mom before you do anything since she busted you the first time.

I hope your mom was not upset when she discovered that you broke into your piggy bank to pay AT&T to install a VRAD in your neighborhood. She may also be a bit upset when she discovers that you signed paperwork to purchase your own DVR and STB's from AT&T since you wanted to own the equipment.
