wd0423, you say there was CRC errors that were being encountered on the network by the HD encoders.  Alright, but I have to ask why things like this weren't being monitored.  Even the lowly RGs detect TCP/IP packet errors and they don't even come close to the computing power of some highend network hardware.  So again, I ask why things like this weren't being detected and logged at the various points in the AT&T Video Encoding Network.
