It's packaged U300 and above.. if you have U300, then they have a issue with the signal to the GR area

What about the sports package?  Is it included in there?

Well I'll be! I have NBA TV now, one step closer but League Pass would be the icing on the cake

Great another channel I won't be getting because my wife downgraded to U-200.  Too bad it isn't part of U-200 or the Sports Package.  Oh well, maybe it'll make its way down to the U-200 package one day.  It is cool they finally got it.

Tell your wife to upgrade you back to the U300 package.

SD and HD are on in St. Louis. However, the repeat of the Celtics and Heat game from last night is not indicated as being in HD on 1632.

Re: NBA TV

Great news that NBA TV has been added. Just found it in the line-up a few minutes ago. Problem is i can't get the channel. I find it absurd that this isn't included in the sports package which i subscribe to. What's the point of having a sports package if you can't include major channels like this one??...i think i'll wait until U-Verse come to their senses and add it to their sports package. Great to have it in the line-up though. Looks like i'll have to continue to listen to the NBA games via my sirius radio for right now.

Re: NBA TV

I am glad to have NBA TV to U-Verse. Now I can watch some NBA games. I am hoping that they are going to offer NBA League Pass soon. Now most that wanted the channel can now rejoice its here!!!! It took a while but its here. I wonder when are they going to have a offical press release of this. I checked the nba website and ATT is not listed yet as a provider.

Good Job ATT!!!!

Re: NBA TV

Well, U-verse now has 3 of the 4 major team sports channels (i.e. NFL Network, NBA TV and NHL Network).  Only the NHL Network is included in the Sports Package.  I would imagine that has to do with the relative lower popularity of ice hockey compared to the other team sports.

Re: NBA TV

Now all we need is the MLB network and i'd gladly upgrade to the U300 package.  Just hard to understand why the NBA TV can't be offered to it's sports package subscribers like myself.

Re: NBA TV

Well, neither is the NFL Network.  Not all "sports channels" are in the Sports Package.

Re: NBA TV

Very true. Just makes sense for all the sports channels to be included in their own package that's all. I just think U-Verse do it to confuse their customers.

Re: NBA TV

Well, its one of those things where no matter what, some group of customers will unhappy with the placement of the channel.  If it where in the Sports Package, the U200 and U300 people who don't want to purchase the Sports Package would not be happy.

I'm just happy it is somewhere in the lineup so that it is an option.  Before today, that channel was not option with U-verse.

Re: NBA TV

It's great to have it as an option for sure. Might upgrade to the U300 to get it and cancel the Sports Package. Need to talk it over with the wife first.

Re: NBA TV

Now I'm in a conundrum.  Still wondering what it means considering League Pass. I assume it will be to follow, but in the meantime I'm missing games because the season has started. I was going to order League Pass via broadband. Not sure if it's worth the upgrade to U300 not knowing when it will be offered - I would if I knew when to expect AT&T offer League Pass.

Re: NBA TV

Glad to see it is showing up in different regions.  It has taken a few years but it is apparent that ATT does care about and is working on getting the sports channels for their subs who want them.  Good job ATT.

Some channel owners DO care.  MLB wants MLB Network to go in a low tier.  Presumably, this is part of the reason as to why it is not yet on AT&T U-Verse.  AT&T would rather have it in the Sports Tier (also included in U-450) or U-300 in order to sell more "higher" packages.  MLB would rather put it on a lower tier in order to get it into more households.

The "Sports Tier" or "Sports Package" is generally for "niche" channels like HRTV or GOLTV, or channels that don't care where they go, such as NHL Network.  It is also for "out of market" programming that is NOT subject to blackouts.

kryptonite,

What's  up with your posts lately?  Most have been double posts.  Very strange indeed.

Re: NBA TV is Here!

Considering the WS is on right now, and the season dosen't start again untill....March (?) I would wait and see if they do not add it right before next season starts, like NBA TV was added right at the start of the BB season. BTW, America's pastime, is wayyy to long. WS in Nov???? I remember when the WS was in Oct.

NBA TV is great news for UV.  I am not a basketball fan at all, especially the pro's (like watching a tennis match, to me) but am glad that they added it for fans of the game.  Thanks AT&T!

Your guess is as good as mine.  Is it my browser or something else?  I'm trying to figure out.
