No offence or anything, but that clip was pretty viral, the only way not to see it is to not watch talk shows (Ellen, Jay Leno, Jimmy Fallon, Craig Fergison, David Letterman, etc.), not watch the news (NBC, CBS, FOX, or ABC), not read the paper, and not read/watch the news online, pretty much, if you haven't heard about it, then you're not up on your current events

If it's not on Disney, Nick Jr, Qubo, ESPN, DIY, HGTV or Food Network, then I probably haven't seen it.  I don't watch the talk shows, I don't watch the news, I read the sports page of the news, so you're right I'm not up on current events.  I honestly had not heard of the Miley incident.
