But that would never happen because we all know that every single Uverse install tech is highly trained and overly dedicated to the quality of their work.

 


Any tech with any provider doing a new install would test the existing coax to see if if can be re-used or needs to be replaced. Any tech who does not do that is simply not doing his or her job.  If the coax is messed up and was re-used by the OP's new provider, the OP needs to complain to the new provider not U-verse.
