The Cubs multiview is not something created by AT&T. The multiview cameras were placed in Wrigley Field by WGN and are active during Cubs home games. AT&T has simply agreed to broadcast the cameras. If you want to see your Yankees or Red Sox do something similar, you should contact those ball clubs.

While the Cubs themselves may not be the best team, their fan base is HUGE and is very loyal.

Indeed.
In addition, suppose I'm a Reds fan living in Cincinnati. I can watch my team on FOX Sports Ohio...when they play at Wrigley Field, I can switch over to a multi-view channel and watch that channel during commercials. ![]()
Trivia:
Today's Cubs game was at Wrigley Field. Anyone know why the multi-view channels were not operating?

I do not think that the multi-view is used for every Cubs game at Wrigley Field. When you turn to the multi-view channels there is a schedule that shows the games when it will be used. Today's game was not on the schedule.

Yesterday's game was a Cubs home game at Wrigley Field on WGN between the White Sox and Cubs.

Yeah, but do you know WHY the game was not on the schedule? ![]()

I have no idea why it was not on the schedule. I just read 'em, not make 'em. According to the schedule, the games do not have to be home games just on WGN. The May 7 home game against the Braves was seen only locally in Chicago on WCIU, and it was scheduled to have multi-view.
As far as the Sunday, May 20 game not having the multi-vew, who were the announcers for the game- were they Cub or White Sox announcers? If they were White Sox announcers, then the game was a WGN road game for the White Sox, and would not qualify for muti-view.
I thought it was the Cub announcers, and if it was, then the rules for muti-view do not always stand.

WINNER! ![]()
The next program was something like "White Sox Wrap-Up"
It had me quite confused when the multi-view channels didn't work. Normally, the Cubs games are on WGN and the White Sox games are on Comcast Sportsnet Chicago. Sunday is usually the exception to the rule.
Things were made slightly confusing when the Cubs were playing at home against the White Sox.

What do I win? I hope it is not steak knives.
There are 30 White Sox games broadcast this season on WGN on various days. Here is a web site with the breakdown of White Sox broadcasts and a schedule.
Owning a computer and not having the internet is like buying a refrigerator and not stocking it with food.

Yet, there was only one White Sox road game televised by WGN taking place in Wrigley Field. This situation won't come up again until 2013 at the earliest.

As far as I know, that is not true. You can see the schedule on any of the multiview channels (channels 1783 - 1788. The next multiview games is on July 29th.

The only games you will get with this are home games covered on WGN.
